Description of the don Quijote Language School in Salamanca

The don Quijote language school is the ideal place to study Spanish in Salamanca because it is positioned in the core of the old city center. The building is far 100 meters from the renowned University of Salamanca and just two minutes away from the wonderful Plaza Mayor. The school is a renovated 16th-century monastery whose modern materials used for the recent restoration create a natural balance with the style, richness and class of previous centuries.

You enter the language school through a fine-looking courtyard. This patio and the garden separate the school into three different parts: the cafeteria, the offices and the classrooms. The most important building has three floors, a recreation room (with computers, video, sound system, etc.), 17 classrooms, a staff/lounge a library and three offices.

The don Quijote language school in Salamanca was chosen 20 years ago to be home for the first don Quijote school. Since the beginning, the idea had been clear: to create the major Spanish as a Foreign Language teaching institute under the slogan ""!Vive el espanol!" “(Live Spanish!). Twenty years of hard work, involvement and devotion have led to twenty years of success… and the school still remains as young and full of illusion today as it did on its first day.
