Study and Work Abroad in Spain

Our Study and Work in Spain program gives you a unique chance to improve your Spanish and earn a small allowance while you gain important work experience in Spain’s hospitality industry. This Study and Work in Spain program is available for students of many nationalities.

You will attend a Spanish language immersion course at don Quijote before using your new skills on a paid work placement in a Hotel or Country House.

You will work in beautiful mainland Spain’s or in the Canary Islands or Spanish Balearic. You will have meals and accommodation provided during the work placement period and you will earn an allowance of between € 200 and € 400 per month.

Duration
Spanish course: 4 weeks (minimum)
Work experience:
  • 2 months for students from USA, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Japan
  • 2 months (minimum) to 4 months (maximum) for citizens of the EU, Iceland, Switzerland and Norway
Eligibility, Citizenship
Students between 18 - 30 years old from the EU, Iceland, Norway, Switzerland, USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and Japan
Eligibility, Interest in the Tourism Industry
We require that participating students must be 18 - 30 years old and have either academic coursework or work experience in tourism, leisure, hospitality management or food service.
