Have you ever wondered how Christmas and New Year’s are celebrated in Spain or Mexico? Here’s your chance to find out – while you study Spanish amongst the locals during this special time of year.
We’ve expanded our Christmas course to include 6 destinations. Choose from a 1 or 2 week course in Barcelona, Granada, Tenerife, Valencia or Madrid in Spain, or enjoy a Mexican Christmas with a 1 or 2 week holiday course in Guanajuato, Mexico.
Example of 2007 Christmas course program:
- A number of cultural classes to enjoy throughout the week
- A one-day guided excursion on the weekend:
- Madrid – Excursion to the remarkable medieval city of Toledo
- Valencia – Excursion to the Museo de Belenes (Nativity Scenes) in Alicante
- Tenerife – Excursion to the Teide volcano
- Granada – Excursion to the white mountain villages of Las Alpujarras
- Salamanca – A half day excursion to the walled town of Ciudad Rodrigo
- Guanajuato, Mexico – Excursion to the picturesque colonial city of San Miguel de Allende
* Excursions are optional, are not included in the course price, and will depend on interest of the students (minimum number of attendees.)

Christmas in Granada

- Destinations: Barcelona, Salamanca, Granada, Tenerife, Valencia and Madrid in Spain and Guanajuato, in Mexico.
- Spanish course: 2 week Spanish intensive course. 4 hours class daily in the mornings, *20 hours per week.
- Level: All levels, beginner through advanced.
